  • Onion – 1, medium, grated/finely chopped
  • Garlic – 5-6 cloves, finely chopped/grated.
  • Oil – to fry/grill

METHOD

2. Add the chilli flakes, pepper powder, crushed coriander seeds, cumin powder and salt.

3. Also add the chopped fresh coriander, parsley, onion and garlic.

4. Mix everything until well combined. Cover the bowl and keep it in refrigerator until ready to use.

5. Shape into patties and pan fry or grill them on both the sides.

6. Serve in between burger buns or in pita pockets.

NOTES

  1. The patties can be shaped and frozen for upto 2 months.
  2. Just brush the pan with oil instead of adding 1 tbsp or 2 tbsp. The lamb will leave out fat. If more oil is added, the patties will turn soggy.
  3. Left patties can be reheated and used in salds.
  4. Adjust spice level if making for kids.
